Wolfgang Weigel has built a career which revolves around the Spanish guitar and is recognised worldwide as an outstanding performer, teacher and collaborators with other musicians. 

An exceptional artistry became the signpost of Wolfgang’s work with the guitar, and he developed what was a childhood love at first site into a brilliant demonstration on how to excel while playing this instrument. 

International stages in Europe, the USA and South America have therefore hosted celebrated concerts from a variety of periods and a variety of genres, in which Wolfgang collaborated with top world musicians and composers.

A special attention and dedication has been granted to contemporary pieces and in this direction some of the most appreciated concerts and recordings are those in which such works and collaborations were brought to life.
